Earth Remembers, presented by Borusan Otomotiv and curated by Selcan Atılgan and Hervé Mikaeloff , unfolds in the olive groves of Bobo by The Stay, Bodrum. The open-air exhibition gathers nine internationally acclaimed artists—Alicja Kwade, Angela Bulloch, Arne Quinze, Camille Henrot, Gisela Colón, Marion Verboom, Sabine Marcelis, Ugo Rondinone, and Wang Keping—each exploring sculpture as a living dialogue between matter, memory, and landscape.
Set against Bodrum’s Cennet Bay, the exhibition transforms nature into a reflective stage where light, form, and perception intertwine. From Marcelis’s sensorial light sculptures and Kwade’s time-bending steel structures to Rondinone’s meditative figures and Colón’s luminous monoliths, each work invites stillness and contemplation. The exhibition echoes the Turkish word yankı—resonance—suggesting that these sculptures are not additions to the land but awakenings within it.
Through this multisensory encounter, Earth Remembers becomes more than an exhibition—it is a meditation on the interconnectedness of art and nature, where each sculpture acts as a breath in an unspoken dialogue between earth and form.
