“I Was Here” explores not only a moment of existence but also its silent echo, the invisible trace, and the possibility of being remembered. “A trace, for me, is the silent witness of existence,” says Selcan Atılgan. “It may not be visible or tangible, yet it can be felt — the sound of a step, a touch left on the surface of a stone, a gaze imprinted in memory. They all remain; they all inscribe themselves into remembrance. It is possible to exist quietly within life and still leave profound marks.”
